Dear friend,
I was walking through the city and saw a beautiful older man sitting there, bathed in the bright spring sunshine, with weathered dark skin, long, white-grey hair, and a matching beard. He looked like an Indian Sadhu (a Hindu holy man), but in blue jeans. I walked up to him and said, “You look beautiful!” He invited me to sit down, and we started talking. He turned out to be a homeless man who was living here in the city after years of wandering. I asked him about his life and he told me, I'm quite happy. I asked him why that was and he answered, “Being able to share life with yourself. Being content with yourself as yourself, then you don't need much.” Delighted, I walked on, amazed at how wisdom can be found everywhere, sometimes even quite literally on the street.
“Being content with yourself as yourself, then you don't need much.”
May your week be full of wonder, sven
